Nutritious Treats on Stepping Stone’s Celebration of Nutrition Month

Eating nutritious food makes once body fit and healthy. The body will increase its potential to have more strength, glow in skin and clear vision. That is why the Department of Health (DOH) annually campaigns and encourages different communities, institutions, particularly schools and the people in general to give important importance to health thru proper daily diet and eating foods that are complete with all the nutrients the body needs. In line with this The National Nutrition Council (NNC) an agency of the Philippines Government under the Department of Health, approved the theme for this year’s Nutrition Month celebration, “Kalamidad Paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutrisyun Agapan!” last March 26, 2014 during the 2nd NNC Technical Committee meeting held at Philippine Statistic Authority in Makati City.
