Stepping Stone Learning Center: From Dream School to Reality (Christmas Party 2014)

Every year, Stepping Stone Learning Center organizes a Christmas Party for their special needs students, parent and faculty. This year’s however, was pretty special, a red letter day that gave everyone an adrenaline rush. The reason for the excitement was not the occasion but the venue- the was held at the school’s new home Sta. Rita Village, Sucat, Parañaque City last December 19, 2014.

Awesome Halloween Party at Stepping!

It was indeed a mythical day last October 23, Thursday, as Stepping Stone celebrated an advanced Halloween Party at the Rotary Club Building, Brgy. Guadalupe Viejo with the theme, “Be The Superhero You Wish To Be”. The students, Teachers University of Santo Tomas and University of Malati interns expressed themselves thru the costumes they wore. Some came as super heroes like Captain America, Superman, Wonderwoman, Hulk, Spiderman and Batman. There were also some characters that be categorized from scary to very scary. They were dressed up as Witches, Vampires and of course the dolls Chuckie and Bride Chuckie.

Nutritious Treats on Stepping Stone’s Celebration of Nutrition Month

Eating nutritious food makes once body fit and healthy. The body will increase its potential to have more strength, glow in skin and clear vision. That is why the Department of Health (DOH) annually campaigns and encourages different communities, institutions, particularly schools and the people in general to give important importance to health thru proper daily diet and eating foods that are complete with all the nutrients the body needs. In line with this The National Nutrition Council (NNC) an agency of the Philippines Government under the Department of Health, approved the theme for this year’s Nutrition Month celebration, “Kalamidad Paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutrisyun Agapan!” last March 26, 2014 during the 2nd NNC Technical Committee meeting held at Philippine Statistic Authority in Makati City.

A Heartwarming “Buwan ng Wika” (The Month of National Language) Celebration at Stepping Stone

Stepping Stone celebrated the “Buwan ng Wika” last August 22, Friday, with the theme of the week “Ang Wika ng Pagsasalin ay Wika ng Paguunawaan (The Language of Translation of Understanding). The event was attendant by parents, teachers, students and their cares and siblings. All students and teachers dressed in defferent national costumes like Filipiniana, Baro at Saya, Malong, Kamisa de Chino, Buri Hat (red scraft) and the timeless Barong.
